Clear, fair and comfort-first.
Every policy on this page exists to protect your time, your hair and your experience. We have written them in plain language so you know exactly what to expect before, during and after your appointment.
Our promise
The 72-hour comfort guarantee
If your braids feel too tight after your appointment, come back within 72 hours. We will adjust the tension at no charge, no questions asked. Your comfort is part of the service, not an optional extra.
Every braids install also includes a complimentary take-down voucher valid for 8 weeks from your install date, covering your unplait, wash, treatment and scalp assessment.
Bookings
Deposits and securing your appointment
A deposit secures your slot and confirms your commitment to the appointment. It is credited to your final bill and it is not an extra charge.
- A 25% deposit is required for all bookings. This is deducted from your total on the day. You pay the balance at checkout, not the full amount upfront.
- Group bookings and multiple clients booked together require full upfront payment. This applies to two or more clients booking as a group, not to individuals booking separately.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment if your service includes a wash. Most braids and treatment services begin with a wash. Arriving on time gives your service the full time it needs.
- Online booking is available 24 hours a day. For services that require a WhatsApp consultation first (complex unplaits, wig bleaching and plucking, custom wig making), contact us before booking.
Cancellations and no-shows
What happens if plans change
We understand that things come up. These policies exist to protect the time of other clients who could have taken your slot, and the income of the stylists who set aside their day for you.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will not receive a refund. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, your deposit will be refunded or credited.
- No-shows will not receive a refund. If you do not arrive and do not contact us, the deposit is forfeited.
- If you re-book within 7 days, your deposit credit is retained and applied to the new appointment. After 7 days without re-booking, the deposit is forfeited.
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be shortened or rescheduled. This is to protect the appointment after yours. We will always try to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee the full service if the session cannot be completed in time.
Tweens appointments
Bookings for clients aged 10 to 16
Our tweens services are designed for younger clients with gentler handling, age-appropriate styles and a calm environment for first-time salon visits. A guardian is welcome to stay throughout.
- A guardian or parent must be present or contactable for the duration of the appointment. We require a guardian name and contact number at the time of booking.
- Breaks are always welcome and never rushed. Young clients can take breaks at any point. We work at their pace.
- We use child-appropriate products and gentle detangling as standard. Heat protection is applied wherever heat is used. Products are selected to be gentle on younger scalps.
- The 72-hour comfort guarantee applies to all tweens braided styles.
Health and safety
Your safety is not negotiable
These are not policies we apply when it is convenient. They are how the salon operates every day.
- Please inform us of any allergies, scalp conditions or skin sensitivities before your service. This includes any dermatologist or trichologist guidance you are currently following. We work alongside your treatment plan, not against it.
- All tools are sanitised between every client without exception. Disposable or single-use items are replaced after every client.
- Work surfaces are cleaned and prepared before you sit down.
- Stylists may decline or adjust a service if they believe it could harm your hair or scalp. This is not a refusal to help and it is the responsible version of care. If we see a scalp condition that needs attention before an install, we will tell you and recommend the right service first.
Payments
How payment works
Every price is shown before you book. What you see is what you pay.
- We accept Yoco card payments, EFT and cash.
- Prices are shown upfront for every service, style and length. There are no surprise charges at checkout. Wash, conditioning, heat protection, blow dry and premium fibre are included in the price shown for braids. Nothing is added after you sit down.
- A 25% deposit is charged at booking and deducted from your total on the day. You pay the remaining balance at the end of your appointment.
- Gratuities are welcome but never expected. Tips can be given by card, EFT or cash at your discretion.
